Welcome to Resurgam HEMA!
We are a group of fencers seeking to reconstruct and train in Historical European Martial Arts, specifically the systems of fencing developed in Medieval and Renaissance Italy.
We meet every Saturday at 72 Auburn Street in Portland, Maine, from 4pm-7pm. We study Fiore de'i Liberi's historical martial art of Armizare, focusing on the use of the longsword in the 15th century.
